Diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago, Della Hancock has committed her life since diagnosis to fund raising for cancer charities.

This week Della is hosting her third bingo fundraiser to raise money for a new digital mammography machine at the Lady McAdden breast screening unit in Westcliff, Essex.

The bingo fund raising event which takes place this Friday, 11th September, will see residents from the surrounding area coming together and raising money through playing bingo! Bingo has long been established as a means for fund raising and is often used for charities in the UK. Della’s event includes a bingo, a meal and a raffle with tickets priced at £20. All proceeds will go towards raising money for the Lady McAdden breast screening unit.
