Retro Sweets Week at Mirror Bingo

Mirror Bingo has offered a surprising new promotion to its members, and one that was likely to make them extremely nostalgic. The new promotion, which was entitled the Retro Sweets Week, was designed to make bingo players reminisce and feel nostalgic about their childhoods. The Retro Sweets Week promotion began on Wednesday the twenty third of September, and offered players the chance to win large hampers of, not surprisingly, old fashioned and retro sweets and treats.

There were various different types of old fashioned sweets available in the hampers, that lucky players were given the chance to win. The hampers were expected to include such childhood delights as Space Dust, Wham bars, Strawberry Flumps and Love Hearts. There was a very wide selection of retro sweets offered in the hampers, but the exact details of the prize are only known by the lucky competition winners. Five of these hampers were eventually given away to prize winners.

The sweets based bingo games cost just ten pence per ticket to enter, and there were no limits on how many times players could buy tickets. Similarly, there was no lower limit on how many could be bought, so essentially players could buy just one ticket, or one hundred if they wanted the hamper than much.

The games were available for player to enter between eight o’clock and nine o’clock in the evening on the Wednesday that the promotion began, the twenty third of September. From eight o’clock, games were played and winners were announced every fifteen minutes. The action took place in the popular Bingo Party room on the Mirror Bingo site. In order to win, players had to be the first to spell out the word ‘sweet’ with their bingo patterns. In the case that there was a draw players would be offered a cash alternative, although it is not known whether this happened and it is therefore likely that the winning player walked away happily with their hampers of retro sweets.
